We're Here To Help

Stockton Educational Center serves students ages 7-22 using core and functional curriculum to serve all of our students needs. Our Core curriculum is in compliance with the state mandated list and our functional curriculum includes but is not limited to instruction in the following areas; communication, personal maintenance, life skills development, community involvement, vocational development, and sensory diet. Each classroom is equipped with 1-2 computers and our student to staff ratio is 2 to 1.

We Serve Three Groups of Students at SEC

GROUP 1
Students with Moderate-Severe disabilities such as Autism, Intellectual Disabilities, Multiple Disabilities.
GROUP 2
Students with Mild-Moderate disabilities such as Emotional Disturbance, Other Health Impaired, Specific learning, and Intellectual Disabilities (mild).
GROUP 3
The Transition of You program for students ages 16-21 is design to equip our students with the necessary skills to transition from the school settings, to the surrounding neighborhood and community.
The students benefit from direct instruction, small group, applied behavioral analysis, conflict management, behavior intervention, speech and language services, counseling services, nursing services, community based instruction, and vocational services.
